Dutch Bilingual Expert

Job Type: Contractor
Location: Remote

Job Overview

We are seeking Dutch Bilingual Experts to contribute to a global language and AI training project focused on improving Dutch-language understanding and generation. In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated Dutch speech, assess linguistic accuracy and authenticity, and provide detailed feedback to support language model improvement.

No prior AI experience is required. Strong Dutch language expertise, English communication skills, and attention to detail are the key requirements for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Listen to short audio clips in Dutch and evaluate the nativeness, fluency, and overall quality of AI-generated speech.
  • Assess pronunciation, grammar, intonation, accent, and linguistic authenticity against native Dutch standards.
  • Identify language errors, unnatural expressions, pronunciation issues, and other linguistic inconsistencies.
  • Provide clear and detailed written feedback on language nuances and areas for improvement.
  • Document findings accurately using project-specific tools, guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
  • Apply established rubrics and quality standards consistently across assigned tasks.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance leads to maintain consistency and accuracy in evaluations.
  • Participate in project update sessions and respond to clarification requests when required.
  • Complete assigned evaluations accurately and within project timelines.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the review and submission process.
Required Qualifications
  • Native-level proficiency in Dutch, with strong command of spoken and written Dutch.
  • Strong understanding of Dutch linguistic standards and regional language variations.
  • B2+ proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle language differences.
  • Ability to analyze pronunciation, grammar, fluency, and linguistic authenticity.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
  • Ability to follow detailed guidelines and evaluation criteria consistently.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in linguistic evaluation, language teaching, translation, localization, editing, or language quality assessment.
  • Experience evaluating audio, speech, pronunciation, or AI-generated content.
  • Familiarity with Dutch regional dialects and linguistic variations.
  • Experience working with online platforms for reviewing and documenting language assessments.
  • Interest in language technology, AI, and speech-generation systems.
