Senior Tax Manager – Partnerships & Pass-Through Entities

Locations: Lehi, UT | Denver, CO | Dallas, TX

The Position: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager – Partnerships & Pass-Through Entities to join our growing tax practice. This leadership role will focus heavily on complex partnership taxation, pass-through structures, multi-entity organizations, S-Corporations, LLCs, and closely held business clients. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned tax professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor, leading client engagements, mentoring teams, and solving sophisticated tax challenges for growing businesses and ownership groups. You'll work closely with Partners and leadership while advising clients on both compliance and strategic tax planning initiatives.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead tax compliance and consulting engagements for partnerships, LLCs, S-Corporations, and multi-entity business structures.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to business owners, executives, investors, and closely held companies.
  • Review complex partnership, pass-through, corporate, and individual tax returns.
  • Provide proactive tax planning strategies focused on entity structuring, tax efficiency, and long-term growth objectives.
  • Advise clients on ownership structures, business transactions, reorganizations, and operating entity considerations.
  • Research and analyze complex federal and state tax matters impacting pass-through entities.
  • Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining exceptional service standards and delivery timelines.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships and expand advisory services.
  • Mentor and develop Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Review technical work products and provide coaching to engagement teams.
  • Collaborate with Partners on client strategy, planning initiatives, and business development efforts.
  • Stay current on evolving tax legislation and regulations affecting partnerships and pass-through taxation.


Qualifications:

*Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
  • CPA license required.
  • 8+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in partnership taxation, pass-through entities, LLCs, and S-Corporations.
  • Experience reviewing complex business tax returns and advising closely held companies.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience mentoring and developing tax professionals.

Preferred

  • Master's in Taxation (MST) or related advanced degree.
  • Experience with multi-state taxation and complex entity structures.
  • Experience advising private equity-backed or multi-entity organizations.
  • Business development and client growth experience.
