Ready to join something exciting? Law Firm Velocity is crushing it as one of the top law firm CFO and bookkeeping firms in the US—and we are just getting started! We have built our reputation on being the absolute best at what we do: turning financial complexity into crystal-clear insights that help law firms thrive. • Support and collaborate with firm managers, CFOs, and other key stakeholders to address financial needs and other responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Our Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented accountant with a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork. Our ideal candidate will:

  • Enjoy learning and mastering new software tools.

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, particularly in payroll processing and balance sheet reconciliation.

  • Show a willingness to jump in and assist wherever needed.

  • Foster a positive and respectful work environment.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Experience with job cost accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with full-cycle accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial statement responsibility

Software Skills

  • Minimum of 12 months of experience using QuickBooks Online

  • Experience using tools like Slack, Snagit, and Outlook

  • Experience with payroll tools like Gusto, Paychex, QB Payroll, or other payroll processing software

While this role is 100% remote, it is a full-time working position — not a side job. Candidates must be available during designated business hours, actively perform assigned responsibilities, and consistently meet performance expectations.
