• Conduct comprehensive assessments by observing and documenting the dynamics of familial interactions and identifying patterns that indicate underlying issues.
• Facilitate open discussions with clients to understand their perspectives on family dynamics and disruptions, guiding them through these narratives towards resolution.
• Identify and recommend community resources that can empower clients and enhance their support systems.
• Work actively to unveil hidden factors contributing to dysfunction within family structures and implement strategies to address these concerns.
• Assist clients in processing grief and responding to negative emotional impacts stemming from personal or familial challenges.
• Provide guidance on stabilizing home environments and enhancing school-related support for children and teenagers.
• Prepare detailed clinical reports and expert testimonies that can serve as credible evidence in legal contexts, upholding the integrity of your professional opinion.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families dealing with various challenges such as relationship conflicts, mental health disorders, grief, and other emotional distress. Your approach will prioritize the unique cultural contexts and backgrounds of each client, ensuring comprehensive and tailored therapeutic interventions.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current LMFT license in the state of Texas is essential.
• Completion of at least one year of supervised clinical hours post-graduation, fulfilling state regulatory standards.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting individual, couple, and family therapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to evaluate a range of mental health and relationship concerns effectively.
• Capability to develop and implement customized treatment plans that address specific client needs.

• Minimum of one year of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, practicing therapy with diverse populations.
• Experience in providing expert testimony or clinical documentation in legal cases is a plus.
• Familiarity with community resources available in the Dallas area to support client needs.
• Knowledge of teletherapy platforms and remote counseling techniques.
