What are Remote Gaming Graphic Designers?

Remote Gaming Graphic Designers are creative professionals who design visual elements for video games, such as characters, environments, icons, and user interfaces, while working from a remote location. They collaborate with game developers, animators, and other team members using digital tools to ensure the game's visuals are engaging and cohesive. Their work can include concept art, 2D or 3D modeling, and creating assets that enhance the overall gaming experience. Being remote, they use online communication and project management platforms to stay connected and deliver their projects on time.

Job description

In the US, Dabble is an innovative Daily Fantasy Sports app, launched in 2023 and on an exciting scale-up journey. Backed by the success of our Australian sportsbook, Dabble is revolutionizing the industry by delivering a unique and immersive community-based experience.

Unlike traditional DFS apps, Dabble combines social media elements with daily fantasy, offering a newsfeed similar to Instagram or Twitter, where users can follow other players (including friends, ex-athletes and celebrities) and copy their bets with ease. Our mission is clear: to lead the charge in creating a social gaming experience like no other, where cutting-edge entertainment meets real connection and engagement.

Dabble US HQ is located in Austin, Texas, but our remote-first culture means our team thrives across the country. We're passionate, we're driven, and we're on the lookout for the next Dabbler!

  • Each day is led through upholding our core Values: Fun, Celebratory, Community, Evolutionary and Focus

Dabble Perks

  • Three weeks of paid vacation leave per year

  • Two weeks of paid sick leave per year

  • 401k matching up to 200%*

  • Health insurance*

  • Unpaid time off available

  • Paid parental leave available

  • Dabble Day Dividend: all Dabblers split the day’s revenue evenly on our birthday each year. You share the workload, why shouldn’t you share the reward?

Overview
Dabble's Graphic Designer (US) sits within the Marketing team, reporting to the Design Director with a dotted line to the VP of Marketing (US) . Working closely with partners across CRM, Acquisition, and Product, this role is central to bringing campaigns and content to life.

This is a rare in-house design role with true creative scope, offering the freedom to explore, experiment, and genuinely influence brand direction within a team that values fresh thinking. At Dabble, visual design isn't just a support function, it's one of the key drivers in building a brand that customers know and love, accelerating the communications plan and scaling its reach. Success looks like designs that are visually striking, highly shareable, and deeply connect with customers. The kind of work that makes people stop scrolling.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver creative assets (graphics, animations, motion graphics, banners, infographics, and in-app communications) that work across social media, digital channels, and marketing campaigns

  • Create shareable campaign creatives and live event visuals that bring Dabble's brand to life across every touchpoint

  • Collaborate with the wider Marketing team across CRM, Acquisition, and Product to craft work that entertains, engages, and sparks conversation

  • Provide design support for in-app customer communications, ensuring assets are optimised for digital acquisition

  • Maintain and evolve Dabble's visual identity, design guidelines, and creative assets

  • Explore and experiment with new creative formats to keep Dabble's content fresh, dynamic, and distinctive

  • Bring Dabble's values of Fun, Celebratory, Community, Evolutionary, and Focus to life through everything you design

Skills & Qualifications

  • A creative mindset that aligns with Dabble's commitment to staying fresh, fun, and evolutionary

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in studio design or similar in-house roles, with experience in sport, wagering, or fantasy highly regarded

  • Strong knowledge of best practice and contemporary design trends, with a passion for bringing content plans to life through concepting and ideation

  • Proven experience creating artwork and delivering assets optimised for digital acquisition, with some exposure to print collateral such as merchandise and campaign materials an advantage

  • Excellent attention to detail and typography skills

  • Strong data management skills, with the ability to store, catalog, and share files with the wider team efficiently

  • Open to occasionally working on weekends or evenings, as our business revolves around sport

  • Proficiency in Figma (our primary creative tool) and Adobe Creative Suite is essential

  • Bonus points for motion/animated graphics skills, HTML5 experience, and creating digital animations such as GIFs, video, and in-app assets

  • Ability to scale output with the assistance of AI-powered tools and resources

Are you a Dabbler?

A person’s attitude is key, as the right individual will learn quickly and bridge any skill gaps. A Dabbler is a team player, eager to share and learn from colleagues. In our remote-first workplace, a collaborative approach is essential for empowering and developing each team member (for example, we value open communication through public channels on Slack for problem-solving and brainstorming).

A Dabbler maximizes their autonomy and enjoys contributing to the Dabble community. We understand that a fulfilling life extends beyond work, and we encourage our employees to prioritize self-care and well-being. This means taking breaks when needed, setting boundaries, and seeking support when facing challenges. We are committed to creating a safe environment where individuals feel comfortable discussing their wellbeing and accessing resources when necessary.

We hold a high regard for our peers – every idea is valued. We encourage you to think creatively, be bold, and aim to continuously set higher standards. Dabble originated from sharing ideas and continues to grow in this spirit. Dabble supports the empowerment of individuals at all levels of experience and seniority to take ownership of their work and confidently share their insights.

Remuneration

The advertised salary for this position is $70,000 USD - $75,000 USD + benefits with room to be flexible.

Primary Location

Our preference is for this role to be based in Austin, Texas. For the right candidate we would consider a fully remote position, however you would need to be based in one of the following states: Texas, Nevada, Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania.
