Who we're looking for: An experienced IT Ops & Systems Manager to lead and support our corporate technology environment. This role is responsible for end-user computing, identity and access management, SaaS platforms, IT operations, and day-to-day technical support across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates independently, and enjoys building strong relationships across the business. What you will do:
  • Manage the full hardware lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, refresh, repair, and retirement of company devices.
  • Provide support for laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, printers, A/V equipment, and office technology.
  • Maintain hardware standards, inventory, warranty tracking, and refresh schedules.
  • Serve as the primary IT support resource and escalation point for employees and company events.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all IT assets, including ownership, location, warranty status, and lifecycle stage.
  • Manage asset assignment, recovery, disposal, and audit processes.
  • Ensure asset records support financial, compliance, insurance, and audit requirements.
  • Manage IT onboarding and offboarding processes, including device provisioning, access management, account deactivation, and equipment recovery.
  • Ensure new hires have required technology and system access on day one.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and coordinate urgent terminations with Security and Compliance.
  • Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, roles, SSO, MFA, conditional access, and provisioning.
  • Manage account lifecycle processes and group-based access controls.
  • Maintain identity governance, access reviews, and audit evidence for access changes.
  • Administer IT-owned SaaS applications, including configuration, permissions, integrations, and security settings.
  • Maintain application inventories, licensing records, renewals, and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct license optimization reviews and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Serve as the administrator for applications without a designated business owner.
  • Execute IT responsibilities within the Software Procurement Process.
  • Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and technology spend.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor recurring technology expenses and provide spend reporting.
  • Administer endpoint management platforms, including device compliance, patching, encryption, software deployment, and remote management.
  • Implement security controls and vulnerability remediation in partnership with the CISO.
  • Manage privileged access, password vaults, and security-related audit activities.
  • Support investigations, compliance reviews, e-discovery requests, and evidence collection.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, email security, and collaboration services.
  • Manage VPN access, DNS, network-related services, backups, and workplace technology.
  • Support conference rooms, phone systems, office technology, and workplace infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Security teams on shared technology initiatives.
  • Maintain IT policies, procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation.
  • Automate repeatable IT workflows and system integrations to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure IT processes are documented, scalable, auditable, and transferable across personnel changes.

Education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of IT operations experience, with demonstrated ownership of a corporate IT function
  • Deep proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration, including Exchange, DNS, domain management, and certificate administration
  • Strong macOS/Apple environment experience; Jamf MDM or equivalent
  • Meaningful experience managing a SaaS portfolio, licensing, procurement, vendor relationships, and expense tracking
  • Comfort with financial/operational rigor, tracking multi-vendor IT spend, managing renewal calendars, and monitoring variable cost services
  • Working knowledge of information security principles and hands-on experience implementing security controls
  • Direct experience with PAM solutions and privileged credential/vault management, including separation of duties controls
  • Familiarity with secrets and key management practices in a cloud environment
  • Experience navigating IT/Security team dynamics specifically, working productively within a policy-driven security function while maintaining operational judgment
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS, Azure) sufficient to communicate effectively with DevOps/Engineering teams
  • Experience supporting legal, compliance, or e-discovery requests in a corporate environment
