Job description

We are currently seeking a Sr Office Technologies Engineer to join our Office Technologies - End User Support team. This role is responsible for the support, continuous growth and improvement of collaboration tools and platforms, through analysis, troubleshooting, building knowledge, supporting, and empowering the workforce.
Duties will include:
  • Administration of O365 Applications (Power Platforms, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, Employee Portal)
  • Responsibility of providing some internal online TEAMS Training courses to employees that sign up.
  • Provide training and support as needed to our Global Onsite IT Staff on the supported applications.
  • Design, develop and communicate document management solutions providing assistance with document migrations to support company document retention and security policies and procedures.
  • Provide end-to-end root cause analysis and assistance for issues related to Office 365
  • Provide knowledge sharing to support staff on O365 capabilities and collaboration tools (OneDrive, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, Outlook). Design and Implement solutions that meet business requirements using the O365
  • Evaluate next-generation collaborative tools, developing change plans and deploying new solutions.
  • Interact daily with IT Teams (Offshore, End User Computing, Global IT Onsite staff, Security) to provide and share technical issue resolution knowledge and deployment/adoption best practice processes.
  • Manage MS Licensing for various software as needed.Such as Teams, Visio, Project, M365 - E3
  • Design, lead, and grow device management strategy using MECM and inTune

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineer, Network Engineer or related field preferred but will accept equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years of technical experience required.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a dynamic team.
  • Participate on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with managing On Premise and O365 Exchange in a hybrid environment.
  • Experience implementing and managing AVD.
  • Ability to provide oversight to the offshore support team responsible for AVD support.
  • Solid grasp of a variety of technologies that include Windows Servers & Clients, Microsoft 365 applications (including Office client software), Networking, and Databases.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory and Azure technologies as it relates to Microsoft 365 products and technologies.
  • Proficient in PowerShell preferred
  • HTML, CSS, and jQuery skills a plus
  • Knowledge of how Office 365 works in conjunction with the enterprise authentication, security, and DLP policies from a configuration, administration, and architectural standpoint
  • AV and Conference room technology experience a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills to quickly and effectively resolve issues independently
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across both operational and corporate functions
  • Ability to act and make decisions independently and provide support for your decisions
  • Ability to lead and motivate others and delegate responsibilities effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with other team members, departments and outside parties
