Job description

We are seeking a front-end developer with at least three years of experience working on eCommerce platforms, preferably Magento. The ideal candidate would have experience using AngularJS, KnockoutJS or Bootstrap and HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery, along with a general working knowledge of other web technologies.
The ideal candidate is passionate and embraces technology, and enjoys seeing our clients succeed. Responsibilities:
  • Magento Core Development that includes third-party module integration and custom API development/integration
  • Develop and document technical solutions in order to enhance functionality and experience of clients' eCommerce websites
  • Assists with quality assurance activities including system and unit testing and solution validation
  • Optimize applications for speed and scalability
  • Consults with business groups to clarify requirements and solution feasibility and to provide technical solutions
  • Participates in daily SCRUM and other business meetings to maximize team productivity and inclusion
  • Assists with technical support and triage of issues as needed

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of front-end development, with at least a year's worth of Magento and/or other eCommerce experience
  • Magento 1 or 2 certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce stores, PCI Compliance and Credit Card processing, as well as the ability to integrate payment gateway providers
  • Experience with advanced JavaScript frameworks such as KnockoutJS, AngularJS, and Bootstrap
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies including both client-side and server side JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, XML, and PHP
  • Ability to develop sites with a responsive design for mobile and tablet platforms
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Possess a strong understanding of the software development life cycle and related processes
  • Familiar with graphic design tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Familiar with Content Management System Wordpress
  • Knowledge of Azure/AWS a strong plus
  • Quick learner with the ability to retain knowledge
  • Effectively manage time across multiple projects and priorities while maintaining good organization skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a high level of initiative
