Staff Accountant – Hybrid After Training

Are you an analytical accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working across multiple areas of finance? We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team and help maintain the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial records.

This full-time position offers a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and the opportunity to transition to a hybrid arrangement after completing training.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and prepare journal entries.

  • Support month-end closing, financial reporting, and internal-control activities.

  • Investigate variances between standard and actual production costs.

  • Reconcile physical inventory counts to the general ledger and assist with obsolescence reserves.

  • Reconcile benefit invoices, employee deductions, and related expenses.

  • Provide backup support for accounts payable posting and customer billing.

  • Track capital expenditures and maintain fixed-asset and depreciation records.

  • Audit plant equipment records and prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Prepare intercompany offset letters.

  • Respond to branch accounting requests and process sales commissions.

  • Partner with accounting and operational teams to improve processes and financial accuracy.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • At least three years of accounting or finance experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP formulas and PivotTables.

  • Working knowledge of sales and use tax.

  • NetSuite experience is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • High standards of confidentiality, integrity, and accountability.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a multicultural team.
