D365 SCM Functional Architect

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Hybrid - Bristol, PA (2-3 days per week onsite). Remote or fully virtual work is not offered at this time.

The D365 SCM Solution Architect will be a key member of the Business Systems team, responsible for owning, designing, and continuously improving supply chain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM). This is a hands-on, post-go-live role that supports the omni-channel business, including wholesale, retail, personalization, eCommerce, and third-party logistics operations.

This role works closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, eCommerce, and IT to ensure D365 reliably supports procurement, inventory management, warehousing, order fulfillment, and integrations with platforms such as Shopify, Manhattan SCALE WMS, 3PL partners, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the solution owner and functional architect for D365 SCM across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
  • Design and support supply chain solutions spanning procurement, inventory, warehouse management, order management, and fulfillment.
  • Partner with the business teams to translate operational requirements into scalable D365 configurations with minimal customization.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex supply-chain-related production issues and lead root-cause analysis.
  • Define and govern integrations between D365 and connected systems including Shopify, Manhattan SCALE WMS, EDI partners, 3PLs, and internal data platforms.
  • Collaborate with integration and development teams on APIs, data entities, batch jobs, and interface monitoring.
  • Support ongoing improvements related to personalization workflows, vendor fulfillment, and warehouse operations.
  • Create and maintain solution documentation including functional design documents, process flows, and data mappings.
  • Participate in release planning, testing coordination, and post-deployment validation.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong functional expertise in procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and order fulfillment.
  • Experience supporting and enhancing a live, production D365 environment.
  • Strong understanding of D365 SCM data structures, entities, and business processes.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating D365 with WMS, eCommerce platforms, EDI, or 3PL partners.
  • Retail, manufacturing, or distribution industry experience.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform and Azure-based integration patterns.
  • Previous experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Functional Consultant, or Senior Business Systems Analyst.
