Job description

About Us
Life Science Connect is transforming from a traditional B2B publisher into a modern data authority. We build the specialized platforms, identity systems, and intelligence layers that help life sciences professionals accelerate development and discover market opportunities. We are leaning heavily into a high-efficiency, decoupled stack and modern, AI-augmented engineering workflows to build products that matter.
The Mission
We are looking for a hands-on, high-velocity Full-Stack Engineer to join our core product engineering team. You will not be moving tickets across a board all day or sitting in endless alignment meetings. You will be building, iterating, and shipping.
This role is focused on expanding our digital footprint: rapidly developing our internal company intelligence platform, deploying customer-facing tools, optimizing headless Optimizely integrations, and expand our architecture to new product lines. You will work directly with our Principal Software Engineer to turn product initiatives into high-utility, revenue-generating reality.
What You'll Actually Do
  • Build with Leverage: Own the implementation of new product features and decoupled architecture using Next.js and React maintaining a relentless focus on performance and minimal technical debt.
  • Orchestrate Agentic Workflows: Integrate Cursor and agentic engineering methodologies into your daily development loop. We don't just tolerate AI-assisted coding; we expect you to master context window management, multi-file prompting, and local execution blocks to achieve a massive output multiplier.
  • Integrate Headless Infrastructure: Develop clean, reusable front-end components that hook seamlessly into a Headless CMS (Optimizely/ODP), ensuring our content delivery is lightning-fast at the edge.
  • Collaborate across the Core: Partner directly with our Data and DevOps teams to ensure everything we ship maintains data integrity across our Snowflake core, supports progressive profiling, and moves through our automated CI/CD pipeline cleanly.

What We Are Looking For
  • 3+ Years of Experience: You've spent significant time in production codebases building modern, full-stack web applications.
  • The Modern Stack: Deep familiarity with Next.js, React, RESTful APIs, and cloud deployments (Vercel/GitHub Actions).
  • Augmented Engineering Native: You have spent the last year moving past basic code completion and into deep, hands-on usage of Cursor and agentic software tools. You know how to guide an LLM to build exactly what you need without letting it create a mountain of spaghetti code.
  • Product Mentality: You care about the "why" behind the code. You understand how an elegant interface or integration translates to user retention, direct data-sharing utility, and business revenue. We see personalization and augmenting our processes with intelligence is the key to success.
  • Autonomy: You are comfortable working in a distributed environment where documentation matters, specifications drive development, and independent problem-solving is prized above micromanagement.

We Invest in YOU
At Life Science Connect, our commitment to empowering innovation and facilitating growth within the life sciences sector extends to our employees. We offer a comprehensive total compensation program designed to support your overall health, financial well-being, and professional development.
In addition to a competitive salary, you'll enjoy:
• Medical/vision/prescription/dental coverage for you and your family
• 100% company-paid short- and long-term disability insurance
• 100% company-paid life insurance
• 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6%
• 15 vacation days and 6 personal days on day 1
• 13 company-paid holidays
