• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments, to identify client needs.
• Collaborate effectively with clients to create customized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, needs, and cultural backgrounds.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in various settings including individual, group, couple, and family therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring a quick response to clients in acute distress, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals for seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to clinic policies and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in psychoeducation with clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge and coping strategies to effectively manage mental health challenges.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and make evidence-based adjustments to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
• Keep abreast of current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic approach.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information, ensuring the highest quality of care.

The primary focus of our therapists is to assist clients from diverse backgrounds who have faced trauma or other challenges. Our therapists are skilled in employing trauma-informed practices that create a safe and supportive space where individuals are encouraged to share their experiences and work towards personal growth and healing. This role requires cultural competence to engage with clients from various demographics effectively.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Proficient in working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes.

A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required. Experience in trauma-informed care, familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, and a background in community health settings are highly desirable. • The annual salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $84,000, depending on geographic location, experience, education, and skill set.
