About the Role
On your first day, you should be ready to:
  • Navigate complex B2B SaaS sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders where the end user is not always the decision-maker.
  • Execute the full sales process, including discovery, demos, objection handling, contract negotiations, and closing.
  • Engage with Professional Learning & Development, Human Resources, and Teaching & Learning leaders within K-12 school districts.

During Your First Week
  • Meet your new teammates and become familiar with the organization.
  • Connect with cross-functional departments to understand the customer journey.
  • Explore the platform, review customer use cases, testimonials, recorded calls, and case studies.
During Your First Month
  • Shadow sales calls and begin leading your own.
  • Start building pipeline and progressing opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Leverage the knowledge of the Sales and Customer Success teams regarding best practices, customer stories, and common buying patterns.
  • Confidently communicate value propositions and position the platform based on customer needs.
During Your First Three Months
  • Attend conferences to network with school district leaders and build your territory.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop region-, product-, or persona-specific campaigns.
  • Track close rates and analyze trends for forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Share best practices with teammates.
  • Provide customer feedback to Product to help improve the platform.
During Your First Year
  • Consistently close new business and celebrate team successes.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Build long-term relationships with school districts throughout your territory.
  • Become highly proficient in HubSpot for forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Stay informed on market trends and identify opportunities to strengthen sales processes and pipeline development.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
  • Has at least 2 years of sales experience, including 1+ year selling into the K-12 EdTech market.
  • Is motivated by driving revenue growth.
  • Is eager to learn, welcomes feedback, and continually strives to improve.
  • Naturally builds strong relationships.
  • Is persistent and follows through consistently.
  • Thrives in environments with ambiguity.
  • Takes ownership of both individual and company success.

Position Details
  • Remote, full-time position.
  • Territory covers the Southeast United States.
  • Travel is required for conferences, customer meetings, and regional events.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Compensation:
    • Base Salary: $80,000-$120,000
    • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000-$175,000
    • Uncapped commissions
