• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment strategies designed to promote trauma recovery and resilience, adapting methods based on individual progress.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), ensuring a high standard of care is maintained.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing their trauma and developing effective coping mechanisms.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and allied health professionals to provide integrated and holistic care, addressing both mental and physical health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary, helping patients navigate trauma-related emergencies with empathy and professionalism.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma, healthy coping strategies, and available community resources, fostering empowerment and resilience.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records that comply with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities focusing on trauma-informed practices.
• Stay current with trends and research in trauma therapy, integrating new knowledge into clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents, each with unique backgrounds and needs. Your expertise will help empower patients to reclaim their narratives and find pathways to healing.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and resilience-building strategies is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an inherent compassion for patients and their experiences.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, reflecting a solid foundation in trauma-focused therapeutic techniques.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort in utilizing digital tools for patient interaction and documentation.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment, emphasizing a collaborative approach to patient care.
