  • Assist the Litigation Paralegal with contested matters, including drafting pleadings and managing litigation calendars.
  • Participate in cross-training for Extensions and Trial Scheduling and transition responsibilities as tasks are reassigned.
  • Begin training on additional paralegal duties involving drafting and preparing various court motions and orders as Extension work shifts.
  • Request documents from courts and communicate with court personnel as needed or directed.
  • Obtain records from the Bureau of Conveyances, Department of Health, and other state or federal agencies on a case-by-case basis.
  • Submit requests for additional fees when necessary.

  • Contribute to team success by supporting related tasks and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to clients, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated customer-service skills, including professionalism, responsiveness, and the ability to resolve inquiries effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
