Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing you to engage with clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining the collaborative spirit of our team. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' eating disorder symptoms and co-occurring mental health issues, utilizing standardized evaluation tools.
  • Collaborate with clients to design individualized treatment plans that incorporate personal goals and measurable outcomes, ensuring a client-centered approach.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to facilitate healing and recovery.
  • Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that challenge clients' distorted beliefs about body image, food, and self-worth, utilizing practical exercises and homework assignments.
  • Equip clients with practical coping strategies and emotional regulation techniques to manage triggers and reduce disordered eating behaviors.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to care that encompasses mental, emotional, and physical health needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, obtained from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Kansas.
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly those effective for eating disorders, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
  • Deep understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
