Premire Counseling & Wellness Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a remote capacity. This full-time position plays a crucial role in providing high-quality mental health services to diverse patient populations within our community health clinic setting in Laredo, Texas. This role operates within a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in your therapeutic approach. Although primarily remote, you will engage closely with outpatient healthcare teams, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate patient care effectively. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to evaluate their psychosocial needs and formulate comprehensive treatment plans that promote improved functioning.
• Provide individual, family, couple, and group psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Engage as a primary therapist in group therapy sessions, working alongside other healthcare professionals to enhance patient engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to contribute to program planning and ensure continuity of care for patients.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Actively collaborate with outpatient and inpatient teams to conduct triage evaluations and provide crisis interventions when necessary.
• Stay updated on best practices, legal, and ethical standards within the counseling profession.
• Contribute to agency quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing clinical services and patient satisfaction.

The primary focus of this role is on serving a diverse range of clients within the community, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. You will be tasked with delivering culturally competent care, understanding the unique challenges faced by different demographic groups in Laredo, and implementing appropriate interventions to support their mental health journeys.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical or community health context.
• A strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team and contribute positively to patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies is essential.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment.
• Experience in primary care or medical settings.
• Previous involvement in program development or community health initiatives.

This rewarding role offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $105,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus.
