The Application Engineer I supports the design and development of single-use solutions for the Fluid Management market. This role involves reviewing customer and internal designs, creating concept-to-final assemblies using standard and custom components, and supporting the release of components and finished goods into the ERP system. As part of a highly collaborative, crossfunctional team, the Application Engineer works closely with commercial partners to translate customer requirements into effective product solutions aligned with approved materials and manufacturing capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Commercial, internal, and external stakeholders to translate customer concepts into manufacturable product solutions that meet application requirements.
Design consumable components compatible with Repligen and customerspecified hardware, ensuring functional integration and performance.
Guide rawmaterial selection in alignment with businesspreferred standards while evaluating emerging materials in the biopharmaceutical industry.
Develop product designs, cost estimates, and customer quotations for assemblies, over-molded solutions, and tubing products.
Support product setup and lifecycle management in SAP ERP, including Item Masters, BOMs, routings, and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
Maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, job aids, design handbooks, and rawmaterial specifications; participate in occasional travel (<10%) as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 1+ year of bioprocess singleuse product design experience, or 2+ years of experience in bioprocess singleuse product design or manufacturing.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and PDM systems preferred.
Ability to produce accurate product drawings, manufacturing instructions, and technical documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems and quality management tools preferred.
Strong written and verbal technical communication skills with the ability to collaborate across commercial, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problemsolving skills, with strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a resultsdriven mindset.

The estimated salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $75,000-$105,000. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
