Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Analystis responsible fordelivering highlyvisible inbound and outbound EDIprojects for the data operations team at Allied. This includesplaying a key role in theongoing monitoring of files andimplementation of new trading partners;configuration ofinbound and outboundANSIX12-834eligibility filesandstandard and custom data extracts,maintenance ofexistingtradingpartnerfiles, andresolvingexisting trading partner file issues.

Technology platformsforprojectdelivery: QicLink(system or record), new data integrationstoolswhichincludesupport client eligibilityand claims files. This includesEDI mappingusinginternal testing and validation tools, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Participate in outbound file implementation projects, including supporting project initiation, helping define timelines, coordinating internal resources,participatingin project meetings, andassistingwith ongoing communications with vendors and internal Allied stakeholders.

  • Assistwith file(claims, eligibility, extracts)implementations, supportingaccurateconfiguration, testing, and transitions to production.

  • SupportadditionalEDI, claims file, or data extract implementations asrequired.

  • Assistas a point of contact for eligibility (834) and claims file questions, implementations, production issues, and project-related updates for both internal teams and external partners.

  • Navigate, interpret, and troubleshoot 834 formatted files and claims files with guidance as needed, including completing data mapping, supporting file testing, and resolving data and formatting issues.

  • Support the use of internal testing, validation, and monitoring tools to execute file testing, document configurations, and helpmaintaina single sourceof truth for eligibility, claims, and EDI files across teams and vendor partners.

  • Assistin monitoring file processing status and performance through eligibility audit reports, claims reporting, and other reporting mechanisms, helping toidentifyrisks, discrepancies, or trends.

  • Support the review, investigation, and resolution of data discrepancies related to eligibility, claims, accumulators, or downstream impacts,coordinating withcustomer service, account management, IT, and vendor/client contacts.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to supportimplementationmilestones and delivery timelines, escalating risks or blockers as needed.

  • Assistin troubleshooting and escalating complex data or file processing issues with internal and external partners, providing clear documentation and recommended next steps.

  • Support data quality initiatives by following established controls and contributing to the improvement of testing, documentation, and operational processes.

  • Partner with Data Operations leadership to support assigned initiatives, provide status updates, and contribute subject matter knowledge to broader data management efforts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencerequired.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • At least 2-3years experienceworking with inbound and outbound ANSI X12 834 EDI files, includingsome experience with theX12 834 format

  • Working knowledge of data management, data warehousing, and coding languages

  • Basic experience inSQL and Microsoft Power BI, along with strong computer skills, includingproficiencyin the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)

  • Knowledge of data integration programs involving all components including source systems, ETL, data quality/integrity, database, and delivery mechanisms and EDI business processes, practices, and procedures within healthcare environment

  • Strong work-ethic and positive attitude and exceptional ability to manage multiple projects across functional teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communicationskills (both verbal and written) and an ability to provide recommendations on data integrations and applications

  • Strategic, conceptual analyticalthinkingandability to work on multipleprojects at once.

  • Ability to advise on complex technical matters to all stakeholders; ability to communicate effectively with management.
