Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Document Control Specialist to focus on EPC customers on a national level.
This is a remote role supporting the U.S. The ideal candidate will be based in the Eastern Time Zone (EST), preferably within a reasonable commuting distance of Cincinnati, OH.
The selected candidate will be required to work 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
Document Control Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • This position is responsible for developing and implementing the necessary infrastructure to efficiently process and secure project related documentation (i.e. vendor documents and drawings, construction documents, and quality records) and in developing and implementing cost-effective solutions for project information management.
  • This person is also responsible for coordinating and overseeing the assembly, reproduction, revision control and submission of final EPC document books.
  • Receive or retrieve vendor and customer documentation in a format mandated by the customer.
  • Collect, scan and upload documents following set procedures.
  • Assemble documents per instruction.
  • Load documentation into Customer Document Management System.
  • Work closely with Project Manager.
  • Interacts with customers and vendors to collaborate on processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with delivery dates.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience working in Document Control, preferably with EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) level projects
  • Team oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality output
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF software
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Accurate spelling, grammar, punctuation, and strong reading comprehension

Pay Range:
Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate's qualifications and prior experience.
$17.74 - $33.85
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
