Objective: This position will identify opportunities within and above the CTC level to grow the fire alarm business across the assigned region. The intent is to pursue those opportunities through enablement and support of the CTC (branch) and it's Colleagues by leveraging both your industry experience and our existing internal resources to drive new fire alarm and life safety business nationally with a regional focus.
What you'll do with "Our Training and Your Experience
  • CTC Enablement by supporting marketing materials and initiatives, recruitment efforts, identification of M&A opportunities, and strategic initiative fire support.
  • Team up with CTC (branch) colleagues and other Strategic Initiatives teams to support fire alarm sales training, qualifying opportunities, and support in developing winning proposals for large RFP's
  • Support Convergint's Strategic Fire Initiative through fire and life safety product partner engagement, internal SharePoint content creation, and supporting the evolution of internal resources such as estimating tool, etc.
  • Support National/Regional Electrical Contractor initiatives by partnering with the local AE's in strategy development to go wider and deeper into their organization(s)
  • Collaborate with both Global Accounts and Data Center teams to create accountability for fire alarm growth initiatives.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 5-7 years sales including 2 years in the area of commercial (electronic security, fire alarm, systems integration)
Preferred Experience: NICET Level III or higher - NCET IV
