Job description

A growing global software company is seeking an FP&A Manager to join its corporate Finance team. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced FP&A professional who enjoys working in a high-ownership environment, partnering closely with senior leadership, and helping build scalable planning, reporting, and analytical processes.

This role offers broad exposure across budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, SaaS metrics, strategic analysis, and systems improvement. It is well suited for someone who has worked in a smaller or middle-market business where FP&A professionals are expected to be hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable moving between detailed analysis and leadership-level insights.

The FP&A Manager will also have a direct report from day one, providing an immediate opportunity to take on people-management responsibility while remaining actively involved in the work.

Important location requirement:Candidates must be based in the Eastern or Central U.S. time zone.

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across revenue, headcount, operating expenses, cash flow, and key business drivers
  • Build and improve financial models, scenario analyses, revenue forecasts, hiring plans, and decision-support tools
  • Prepare management reporting and translate financial and operational performance into clear, actionable insights
  • Track and analyze SaaS and go-to-market metrics, including ARR, MRR, retention, churn, bookings, pipeline, CAC, LTV, and Rule of 40
  • Partner with leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, Accounting, and People on resource allocation, hiring, investment decisions, and performance management
  • Support profitability analysis, strategic initiatives, systems enhancements, process improvement, and reporting automation
  • Manage and develop an FP&A Analyst while maintaining a hands-on role in the companys core planning and analytical work

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, business operations, or a related analytical role
  • Experience working in a smaller or middle-market company, ideally with less than $75 million in annual revenue
  • SaaS, software, technology, consulting, or recurring-revenue experience preferred
  • Strong financial modeling skills across revenue, expenses, headcount, cash flow, and scenario planning
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, retention, CAC, LTV, bookings, pipeline, and Rule of 40
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred
  • Prior supervisory or mentoring experience preferred
