This full-time position will allow you to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to clients in need. Our outpatient office serves a diverse population, and counselors engage in telehealth services to facilitate therapy sessions. You will have access to industry-standard tools and electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to ensure streamlined documentation and efficient management of client cases.

• Conduct thorough client interviews and assessments to gather comprehensive information regarding mental, emotional, and behavioral health status.
• Evaluate clients' needs and create detailed treatment and intervention plans tailored to individuals, families, and groups.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and open environment where clients can express themselves.
• Monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary based on feedback and observed outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nursing staff, to develop cohesive intervention strategies.
• Manage referrals and follow up with clients who are referred to psychiatrists or other specialists, ensuring continuity of care.
• Assist clients' families and caregivers in addressing mental health challenges and implementing therapeutic strategies at home.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to remain informed about the latest developments in psychotherapy and mental health best practices.

Your role will involve working with a varied demographic that includes individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex behavioral disorders. • Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document client interactions effectively and empathetically.
• Sound clinical judgment and understanding of mental health best practices, including familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) guidelines.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience in mental health settings, demonstrating a track record of success with diverse populations.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline documentation and workflow.
• A thorough understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as experience in addiction disorders.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to connect with clients and their families.
