Zencare Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in North Las Vegas, Nevada. This full-time position will allow you to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to clients in need. As a licensed professional, you will leverage your expertise in mental health counseling to design and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and facilitate therapy sessions in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications
  • Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document client interactions effectively and empathetically.
  • Sound clinical judgment and understanding of mental health best practices, including familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) guidelines.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience in mental health settings, demonstrating a track record of success with diverse populations.
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline documentation and workflow.
  • A thorough understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as experience in addiction disorders.
