Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, including preliminary interviews that assess clients' emotional, behavioral, and psychological states.
  • Document detailed case notes from the initial assessment through to the completion of treatment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized intervention plans for clients, addressing their unique needs in family, couples, and group formats.
  • Facilitate engaging individual therapy sessions and support group meetings, utilizing effective therapeutic modalities and evidence-based techniques.
  • Monitor each client's progress and provide timely updates to treatment plans, adjusting strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate extensively with psychiatrists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring holistic care tailored to each client's circumstances.
  • Educate and support families of clients in understanding mental health challenges, equipping them with strategies to aid recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly and compassionately.

Preferred Experience
