Job description

We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a long-term contract opportunity. In this role, you will turn complex financial and operational data into clear reporting, forecasting, and modeling that supports regional and enterprise decision-making. This position works closely with finance partners, operational leaders, and governance teams to improve reporting quality, strengthen forecasting accuracy, and deliver insights that guide business performance.

Responsibilities:


• Direct the collection, preparation, and alignment of financial and operational data from multiple regions and business areas to support consistent reporting and analysis.

• Evaluate large datasets to identify patterns, outliers, and performance drivers, then present practical recommendations to finance and operational stakeholders.

• Produce and oversee regional financial reporting for business partners and leadership, including profitability reviews, variance explanations, and resource allocation insights.

• Partner with governance and finance teams to strengthen reporting methodologies, maintain standards, and support compliance with company-wide policies.

• Improve reporting and analysis workflows by introducing automation and scalable processes that increase speed, accuracy, and repeatability.

• Coordinate with finance business partners and regional leaders to consolidate quarterly forecasts and ensure assumptions reflect current operating conditions.

• Conduct detailed forecast-to-actual and period-over-period variance analysis, highlighting root causes and implications for business decisions.

• Build and enhance financial models that support pricing, resource planning, and performance management for regional leaders and finance partners.

• Contribute to enterprise forecasting and cross-functional planning by aligning regional inputs with broader corporate priorities.

• Coach entry-level analysts on reporting practices, validation techniques, and analytical approaches to strengthen team capability

• Strong experience in financial analysis, including reporting, forecasting, and performance evaluation.
• Proven ability to develop financial models that support planning, pricing, and operational decision-making.
• Hands-on expertise in variance analysis with the ability to explain business drivers and financial outcomes clearly.
• Experience performing ad hoc analysis and transforming complex requests into actionable financial insights.
• Proficiency in data mining and working with large, detailed datasets across multiple sources.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including FP& A, Accounting, operations, and data governance stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to business partners and leadership in a clear, concise manner.
