This position supports Finance, Operations, Culinary, Accounting, Marketing, and other departments by providing meaningful financial and operational analysis across the company and an assigned portfolio of restaurants.

The Financial Analyst will create actionable reporting, help restaurant leaders optimize labor and food costs, support budgeting and profitability analysis, and develop tools and systems that improve decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging finance professional who enjoys translating complex data into practical insights and partnering directly with restaurant operators and culinary leaders.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial, operational, and key performance indicator reports.

  • Assist with daily and weekly reporting for restaurant and company leadership.

  • Partner with restaurant leaders to identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support the annual budgeting process at both the restaurant and corporate levels.

  • Upload budgets and other financial information into data-warehousing and reporting applications.

  • Train restaurant managers and chefs on financial concepts and systems, including:

    • Labor management

    • Food cost, cost of goods sold, and pricing

    • Restaurant financial statements and profitability

  • Help improve financial acumen throughout the restaurant organization.

  • Develop tools, systems, and processes that improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Build and maintain databases and documentation related to financial and operational data sources.

  • Provide training to Mina Group team members on Excel, reporting systems, and related processes as needed.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of restaurant- and company-level financial and strategic information.

  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality, or a related field.

  • Up to two or more years of professional experience; restaurant, hospitality, retail, or financial-analysis experience is preferred.

  • Foundational understanding of:

    • Financial statements

    • Financial and accounting analysis

    • Restaurant or business profitability

    • Complex spreadsheets and data sets

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to learn new technology platforms, reporting tools, and financial systems quickly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to colleagues without finance backgrounds.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and build productive relationships with restaurant and corporate leaders.

  • Integrity, professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information.

  • A positive, solutions-oriented approach and a genuine interest in hospitality.

Our Ideal Candidate

You are curious, analytical, and eager to understand how restaurant operations translate into financial performance. You enjoy working with data, but you are equally comfortable communicating with chefs, operators, and business leaders. You approach challenges with professionalism and initiative, take pride in producing accurate work, and can turn detailed financial information into practical recommendations that help teams make better decisions.
