Finance Sr. Director - Transformation Office

Responsibilities

As Finance Director within the Value Creation Office (VCO), you will lead the financial strategy, governance, and performance management of enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. Serving as the primary connection between the VCO and Finance, you will ensure transformation savings and investments are accurately embedded into budgets, forecasts, long-range plans, monthly reporting, and financial close processes.

You will serve as the single source of financial truth for the enterprise value creation program, ensuring initiatives translate into measurable, sustainable, and auditable P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet impact. This highly collaborative role partners with Corporate Finance, FP&A, Controllership, Accounting, and functional leaders to establish durable processes, strengthen accountability, and resolve financial or governance gaps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish consistent methodologies for recognizing, validating, timing, and assigning ownership of transformation savings.

  • Lead the VCO's weekly financial reporting cadence and serve as its primary Finance liaison.

  • Translate initiative-level savings and investments into P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet impact.

  • Pressure-test assumptions to ensure savings are accurate, achievable, sustainable, bookable, and not double-counted.

  • Track performance and variances across plans, forecasts, and actual results.

  • Identify financial risks, value leakage, and misalignment early and drive corrective actions.

  • Consolidate enterprise-wide transformation performance into clear, executive-ready reporting.

  • Provide senior leaders and sponsors with financial narratives, fact-based insights, and actionable recommendations.

  • Maintain consistency across internal reporting, applicable external disclosures, and sponsor expectations.

  • Build trusted relationships across Finance and functional leadership while maintaining independence and financial integrity.

This role requires deep technical finance expertise, strong relationship-management skills, and the confidence to uphold financial and governance standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or transformation finance in a complex, multi-initiative environment
  • Proven experience integrating cost savings and investments into budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Strong command of P&L, cash flow, and capital vs. operating expense mechanics
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive-level communication/ presentation skills

Preferred:

  • CPA, CFA or MBA preferred
  • Experience in PE-backed portfolio companies, merger integration
  • Experience supporting technology, digital initiatives and resulting technology financials and capital/operating spend

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $200,000- $230,000 annually USD, based on a good-faith assessment at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary. Base pay is one component of IGT's total rewards program. Depending on the role, employees may be eligible for bonus or commission opportunities.
