West Advisory Behavioral Health is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expanding team. This full-time remote role invites professionals with the qualifications of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to engage in therapeutic relationships with adult individuals and couples. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to establish a comprehensive understanding of each client's mental health status and needs.
• Provide individual and couples therapy sessions, employing appropriate therapeutic models and interventions to aid in client healing and growth.
• Complete all documentation within 24 hours to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping while meeting compliance standards.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate client goals, evidence-based practices, and ongoing assessments.
• Participate actively in peer case consultations, bringing insights, innovative ideas, and collaborative approaches to shared cases.
• Maintain organized and secure records in adherence to privacy laws and ethical standards.

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related challenges. Our approach is deeply client-focused, which means you will work to adapt therapeutic techniques to fit the needs and cultural backgrounds of each individual or couple you serve.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
• Active independent licensure in Oregon as an LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC.
• Proficiency with technology, particularly in using virtual platforms for therapy sessions, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

• At least two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a remote setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations or specific mental health diagnoses is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation efficiently.
