• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, ensuring you develop a deep understanding of each individual's circumstances.
• Deliver personalized counseling services, both individually and in group settings, employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to foster positive mental health outcomes.
• Create and implement customized service plans that align with clients' aspirations and support their overall development and empowerment.
• Actively advocate for clients, championing their rights and facilitating access to necessary resources, while also addressing broader social justice concerns.
• Participate in program development initiatives and contribute to evaluation efforts while fulfilling reporting requirements for grant applications and program funding.
• Collaborate with local community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance service offerings and strengthen social support networks.
• Engage in ongoing training and participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and strategies that align with our mission of community empowerment and social change.

Your primary client focus will be students within school environments, as well as their families, who may be grappling with a range of challenges, including behavioral issues, mental health concerns, and situational crises. You will work directly with diverse populations, requiring both a respectful approach to diversity and an understanding of the multifaceted dynamics of family structures.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required for this position.
• Current active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in trauma-informed care, advocacy, and an understanding of social justice principles.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong organizational and empathetic interpersonal skills.

• Prior experience working within a nonprofit framework or similar community-focused organization is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with case management and a solid grasp of community resources that can aid clients in their growth and recovery.
