Job description

Shape the Future of Final Mile Delivery at Scale
CRST The Transportation Solution is seeking a Final Mile Strategic Partnerships Director to lead executive-level retailer relationships within our Home Solutions business. This role is designed for a proven final mile leader who has owned delivery outcomes inside a national retail environment and brings the credibility to shape long-term partnerships at the enterprise level.
This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who understands how final mile truly works-installs, service quality, peak execution, and brand protection-and can translate that experience into scalable partnerships that drive meaningful growth.
How You'll Work
  • Location: Remote
  • Travel: 25-50%, based on retailer engagement and business needs
  • Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the salary wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $107,000-$161,000 per year. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.
  • Incentive: Eligible for performance-based bonus or commission programs, as applicable.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, and vision coverage; prescription drug and telemedicine services; company-paid life and disability insurance; retirement savings with company match; paid time off, holidays, and parental leave; plus additional voluntary benefits and employee discounts.
  • Additional Compensation: Total compensation may also include other forms of pay such as overtime or discretionary incentives, as applicable.

About the Role
As the Final Mile Strategic Partnerships Director, you will serve as CRST's executive relationship owner for national retail partners across furniture, appliances, and big-and-bulky home delivery. You will shape how retailers think about final mile delivery strategy, partner closely with CRST operations to design executable solutions, and retain long-term ownership of senior customer relationships.
This role is not about cold outreach or transactional selling. It is about credibility, trust, and the ability to sit across the table from retail leaders as a peer.
What You'll Do
  • Own executive-level relationships with national retail partners, serving as CRST's senior point of contact for final mile delivery strategy and performance
  • Drive meaningful revenue growth through the development and expansion of large-scale retail partnerships, including $10M+ annual programs
  • Engage retailer leadership to understand delivery challenges, service expectations, and long-term priorities
  • Shape final mile delivery solutions that are operationally sound, scalable, and aligned with retailer brand standards
  • Provide executive oversight during new program launches and expansions, ensuring commitments translate into consistent execution
  • Partner closely with operations, implementation, and support teams to align service quality, performance metrics, and continuous improvement
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing cross-functional teams through insight, credibility, and partnership
  • Maintain awareness of evolving retailer expectations, delivery models, and industry trends to inform partnership strategy

What Great Looks Like
  • Trusted partnerships: Retail leaders view you as a credible partner who understands their delivery operation and brand expectations
  • Scalable growth: Large, complex retail programs are launched and expanded successfully, driving sustained revenue growth
  • Operational alignment: Customer commitments and operational execution remain tightly aligned, even through peak and complexity
  • Executive influence: You shape conversations at the enterprise level and retain long-term ownership of senior relationships
  • Brand protection: Delivery programs consistently support retailer service standards, customer experience, and reputation

What You Bring
  • Senior-level experience leading or owning final mile, home delivery, or field service operations within a national retail or consumer-facing organization
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain trusted relationships with executive leaders in corporate procurement, supply chain, or home delivery
  • Deep understanding of final mile delivery models, including installs, service quality metrics, damage drivers, and peak execution
  • Proven ability to influence outcomes through credibility, operational insight, and partnership rather than transactional selling

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a senior operational or program leadership role within a national retailer or retailer-managed final mile environment
  • Demonstrated success shaping long-term partnerships where execution quality and trust are critical
  • Strong executive presence and ability to represent an organization at the enterprise level

Why CRST?
CRST is celebrating 70 years of grit, growth, and forward momentum-a legacy built on safety, integrity, and delivering on our commitments. Our Home Solutions business plays a critical role in how we serve some of the most recognized retail brands in the country.
At CRST, you'll lead with influence and impact, backed by a company committed to operational excellence, strong partnerships, and long-term success.
Core Values
