Job description

Salary:

We are looking for an IT Operations Administrator to own and support our internal IT environment, Azure infrastructure, endpoint management, and office networking. This is our first dedicated IT hire and an opportunity to build scalable, secure IT operations from the ground up. You will work closely with Operations, Engineering, and HR to improve onboarding, automate device provisioning, strengthen security posture, and support employees across the U.S.


Responsibilities

  • Manage Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for zero-touch device provisioning and endpoint management.
  • Administer Azure AD / Entra ID, Google Workspace, and employee access lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain and improve Azure security posture, MFA, compliance and endpoint security.
  • Monitor and respond to security, device compliance, and infrastructure alerts.
  • Support office network infrastructure including Wi-Fi, VPNs, switches, and firewalls.
  • Configure and maintain firewall rules, secure remote access, and network connectivity.
  • Manage hardware procurement, inventory, shipping, and lifecycle operations from the Bloomington hub.
  • Standardize and document IT processes, systems, and operational procedures.
  • Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist with security audits, compliance initiatives, patch management, and IT documentation.
  • Partner with vendors and service providers to maintain reliable IT operations and infrastructure.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Administration, IT Operations, or Infrastructure Support.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure / Entra ID, and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting Windows and macOS environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
