• Conduct individual counseling sessions focused on patients experiencing chronic pain, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to develop comprehensive, patient-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
• Facilitate workshops and support groups that foster resilience and coping strategies among patients, helping them navigate the emotional complexities associated with chronic pain.
• Empower patients through education and coaching on effective pain management strategies, ergonomic self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications that enhance their quality of life.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes diligently in accordance with HIPAA regulations to ensure continuity of care and adherence to clinic protocols.

This role primarily focuses on individuals aged 18 and older who are living with complex and often debilitating chronic pain conditions, such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, and neuropathic pain. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges, requiring a sensitive and personalized approach to care. Understanding the intersection between mental health and chronic pain will be crucial in providing the highest standard of care.

• A valid and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Washington state is required.
• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is necessary to meet the qualifications for this role.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients through telehealth platforms are essential attributes for success in this position.
• Proficient in employing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored specifically for chronic pain management.

• At least three years of experience providing counseling or therapeutic interventions to clients with chronic pain or related conditions is preferred.
• Experience with telehealth service delivery and familiarity with relevant technologies and platforms designed for remote therapy sessions.
• A background in health coaching or wellness initiatives may be considered a strong asset.

The position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
