Class B drivers typically operate trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more, but not tractor-trailers. The 'remote' aspect may refer to working in less-populated areas, making deliveries over longer distances, or being based out of a location away from FedEx hubs. F&B Event Manager

Singer Drivers Club | Willow Springs Raceway | Mojave Desert, California

ABOUT SINGER DRIVERS CLUB

Singer Drivers Club (SDC) is a world-class private motorsport and lifestyle club at Willow Springs Raceway — the fastest road in the West since 1953. Set deep in the Mojave Desert, SDC hands its members the keys to six legendary circuits, elite driver coaching, concierge-level service, curated food and beverage, and an expansive outdoor pursuits program. This is more than a track. It's a founding-team opportunity to build something rare from the ground up — a club that fuses raw performance, real adventure, and genuine community at a standard set to rival the finest private clubs in the country. For the right person, this is the chance to help write the standard rather than inherit it.

SDC joins a distinguished family of private clubs and communities that includes Yellowstone Club, Moonlight Basin, Spanish Peaks, and Crazy Mountain Ranch — some of the most extraordinary member destinations anywhere. To build a career inside a collection this ambitious is a rare thing: the standard you help set here connects to a much larger world of remarkable places and the people who bring them to life.

THE ROLE

The F&B Event Manager brings SDC's events to life — from an intimate member dinner to a large-format trackside gathering under the Mojave sky. You own each event end to end: planning, logistics, budgeting, staffing, and flawless day-of execution.

You'll build event proposals and BEOs, manage timelines and floor plans, coordinate rentals and vendors, and run the room on event day. Because our events pull in the kitchen, valet, and concierge, you'll lead teams that don't report to you and make them move as one.

You'll partner with members on everything from menus to décor to flow, translating what they want into a plan the whole team can execute. When something goes sideways mid-service — and it will — you solve it before the guest ever notices.

This is a member-facing role in a private club. Relationships are the job: you'll become the person members trust with their most important celebrations, and the reason they book the next one.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • End-to-end event planning and execution — from first inquiry through post-event follow-up
  • Serving as the single point of contact between the member and the club team
  • Building BEOs, proposals, timelines, and floor plans
  • Hosting site visits, tastings, and pre-event walkthroughs
  • Suggestive selling and up-selling of menus, beverages, and wine to grow event revenue
  • Cross-functional coordination across kitchen, service, valet, and concierge
  • Coordinating off-site and ancillary needs — AV, transportation, tours, and lodging
  • Budget management, client budgets, invoicing, final billing, and event financial close
  • Vendor and rental coordination, including specialty items
  • Staffing, setup, breakdown, and day-of floor management
  • Real-time problem-solving under pressure
  • Member consultation and expectation management as a visible, hands-on host
  • Familiarity with club and hospitality software (e.g., TEI, Pacesetter, TrackHero, TripleSeat)
  • Confidentiality and discretion with member and event information
  • Member-facing polish, warmth, and attention to detail across décor and flow

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years managing events end to end in hospitality, a private club, or a luxury venue
  • Track record owning events of 50+ guests
  • Experience coordinating teams outside your direct reporting line
  • Experience building BEOs, creating client budgets, and interpreting P&L
  • Sales, up-selling, and negotiation experience within F&B events
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • F&B or catering background strongly preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean record
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience

DETAILS

  • On-site, remote desert location; weekend and event-day availability required
  • Full-time, benefits-eligible
  • Reports to the Director of F&B / Retail

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position requires walking, standing, and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with members, supervisors and subordinates.

BENEFITS

  • Medical, Dental, Vision benefits (FSA/HSA/DFSA options)
  • Lifestyle Spending Account (LSA) - Annual $650
  • Company-paid employee Life Insurance, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability
  • 401K with Bi-Weekly Employer Match
  • Paid Time Off
