What is a remote feature producer?

A Remote Feature Producer is a professional responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of feature-length content, such as films, documentaries, or special segments, while working remotely. They manage creative teams, budgets, schedules, and communications, ensuring the project meets its goals without being physically present at a central location. Job description

About the role and team

Working at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. As an Application Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain the digital glue that drives productivity across our global workforce. You will play a pivotal role in modernizing how we work, acting as a critical link between complex business needs and the scalable technical solutions that power our ecosystem.

This isn't just about managing tools; it's about building for real-world impact where performance and reliability can't be separated. You will navigate the "messy" reality of large-scale enterprise environments, shifting priorities, and technical debt to build seamless automation. We are looking for a technically curious engineer who stays calm under pressure, takes extreme ownership of their work, and is motivated by the challenge of making movement - both digital and physical - more efficient. If you're energized by the chance to build tools that thousands of your peers rely on every day, this is where you'll grow.

Rate of Pay:                 $170,000 to $187,000 per year

You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link https://www.uber.com/careers/benefits.

What you'll do

  • Act as long-term technical owner for partners in a specific portfolio (e.g., Restaurants, Retail, Platform & Logistics), helping them build into Uber and tap into Uber's global platform.
  • Shape how large enterprises adopt Uber's technology by driving durable integrations and ongoing collaboration.
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end technical integrations between Uber's platform and large restaurant partners (e.g., order ingestion, menu/catalog sync, store onboarding, fulfillment status, and cancellation/exception flows) using APIs, webhooks, and related integration patterns.
  • Build and improve reusable integration assets-including reference implementations, tooling, automated validation scripts, and technical documentation-to accelerate partner onboarding and reduce operational overhead across the restaurant portfolio.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production integration issues (e.g., data mismatches, latency, auth failures, event sequencing) by analyzing logs/metrics and coordinating fixes with partner engineering teams and internal product/engineering stakeholders, ensuring reliability and performance at scale.
  • Define and enforce integration requirements related to security, authentication/authorization, and data handling (e.g., OAuth/keys, request signing, PII safeguards) to meet platform standards and partner compliance needs.
  • May telecommute.

Basic Qualifications

  • Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in job offered or computer-related occupation.
  • Position requires:
    • APIs, SDKs, and distributed systems;
    • Designing end-to-end integration architectures;
    • At least one modern programming language (Python, Java, Go, or Node.js);
    • Producing and reviewing production-level code;
    • SQL and analytics for applying insights to partner success;
    • Cloud infrastructure, web technologies, and developer productivity platforms;
    • AI-powered tools including Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and debugging tools including Postman, API Logs, or SQL via query builder; and
    • Owing technical outcomes related to feature adoption.

Ready to Ride?

This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook - it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves - we'd love to hear from you.

You may be eligible for bonuses, equity, and other compensation, as well as a range of benefits. Explore our benefits.
