They perform their duties from locations outside of traditional FBI offices, often using secure digital platforms to access sensitive information. These analysts help identify patterns, trends, and connections in large data sets to support law enforcement cases, national security efforts, and intelligence analysis. Their work is crucial for making informed decisions and advancing the FBI's mission while allowing for flexible work arrangements.

They participate in regular virtual meetings to discuss case progress, share analytical findings, and coordinate investigative strategies. Effective remote analysts proactively communicate and document their work to ensure seamless integration with field agents, supervisors, and other analysts. Building strong working relationships and maintaining clear channels of communication are essential to overcome the challenges of remote work in a high-security environment.
