Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a highly connected and results-driven Government Contracts Manager to both generate and manage government contracts within our healthcare staffing division. This fully remote role is ideal for a professional who not only understands the government procurement lifecycle, but also brings an established network of agency contacts and a proven ability to identify, pursue, and secure new contract opportunities.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (standard business hours

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new government contract opportunities across federal, state, and local agencies
  • Leverage an existing network ("rolodex") of government and industry contacts to generate business and expand contract pipeline
  • Manage and administer awarded contracts, including compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific requirements
  • Lead contract negotiations, modifications, renewals, and closeouts
  • Partner with recruiting, credentialing, operations, and finance teams to ensure successful contract execution and fulfillment
  • Support and lead proposal development, RFP responses, bid submissions, and pricing strategies
  • Monitor contract performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready contract documentation and reporting systems
  • Serve as the primary liaison with contracting officers and key government stakeholders
  • Track regulatory changes and adjust internal processes to ensure ongoing compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 7+ years of experience in government contracting, with a strong preference for healthcare staffing or healthcare services
  • Demonstrated success in generating and winning government contracts, not just managing them
  • Established network of government contacts and industry relationships that can be leveraged for business development
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and government procurement processes
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar credential
  • Experience working with agencies such as the VA, DoD, or CMS
  • Familiarity with healthcare staffing compliance, credentialing, and licensure requirements
