This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while enjoying the flexibility to create your own schedule. Our outpatient office serves clients through a secure online platform that includes video and text sessions. • Conduct individual counseling sessions via secure video chat to help clients improve their mental health and overall well-being.
• Encourage clients to openly discuss their feelings and experiences, promoting self-awareness and insight into their personal relationships.
• Act as an advocate for your clients by helping them set and achieve meaningful therapeutic goals.
• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that employ solution-focused therapeutic approaches based on your clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals to enhance the quality of care and support to clients.

The clients you will work with at Healing Orbits are carefully screened, ensuring all are stable adults with low-acuity mental health needs. There will be no severe mental health cases, allowing for a more supportive and focused therapeutic environment. We strive to match you with clients whose needs align with your specialties and preferences, ensuring a more effective therapeutic relationship.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• License to practice independently in the state of New Jersey: Fully licensed as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW without any disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature are essential for success in this role.
• Proficiency in computer skills and a comfortable approach to utilizing technology for telehealth practices.

A minimum of two years of experience in delivering mental health counseling is preferred. Familiarity with telehealth practices, as well as expertise in specific therapy modalities, will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 based on your work hours and experience. Additionally, full-time counselors receive a monthly healthcare stipend, immediate access to a sign-on bonus, and weekly direct deposit. A significant aspect of our compensation includes minimal overhead costs as we handle billing, marketing, and administrative responsibilities, allowing you to focus fully on your clients.
