• Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive assessments and interviews.
• Offer individual, couples, and family therapy sessions to address a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, relationship conflicts, grief and loss, and emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Track and document client progress in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations to ensure quality care and effective treatment outcomes.
• Provide referrals to specialized services as required to aid clients in their recovery journey.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to maintain licensure and enhance clinical skills.

The therapist will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds and family structures. Common areas of focus include:

• Issues related to alcohol and substance abuse
• Coping with physical and psychological abuse, including trauma recovery
• Managing grief and loss, helping clients navigate the complexities of bereavement
• Resolving familial conflicts, such as those arising among family members or siblings
• Supporting blended families through the challenges of remarriage and integration
• Facilitating adaptations to separation, divorce, and related adjustments
• Addressing job-related stress and medical issues that impact mental health

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Must possess an active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients in a remote setting.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and the ability to adapt to evolving technologies is preferred.

Our compensation package is competitive and designed to reflect the value you bring to our clinic. The salary range is between $70,000 and $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
