Job description

Host Family - F1 International High School Student
We are a thriving international education organization supporting students from 30+ countries. We're seeking caring, reliable host families to join our community as Full‑Time Hosts (5-10 months), Short‑Term Hosts (1-6 weeks), or Back‑Up Hosts (a few days to a few weeks).
Host Families provide a safe, welcoming home and help students adjust to life in the U.S., build confidence, and reach their potential. This is a cultural‑exchange opportunity-not traditional employment.
Key Responsibilities
• Be 25+ and provide an English‑speaking home
• Offer nutritious meals
• Provide a private or shared bedroom
• Maintain a safe, stable, caring environment
• Ensure transportation to school (bus, bike, walk, or drop‑off)
Household Guidelines
Families set clear expectations around meals, guests, curfew, electronics, chores, and routines to help students feel secure and supported.
Program Support
• Dedicated coordinator with monthly check‑ins
• 24/7 emergency support
• Back‑up host families for vacations or emergencies
• Strong partnership with local schools
Compensation:
Monthly stipend amounts are aligned with each student's program structure, so they may vary by placement.
Direct deposit provided.
While families receive a stipend, the heart of hosting is cultural exchange-sharing daily life, building connections, and supporting a young person's journey.
