This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional committed to providing high-quality mental health services. The position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from wherever you feel most productive.

About the Organization

At Inner Fire Wellness Center, we believe in the profound impact of mental health care on the overall well-being of individuals and communities. Located in Reno, Nevada, we are a community health clinic focused on offering a comprehensive suite of mental health services. Our mission is to empower clients through compassionate care, fostering resilience and personal growth. We pride ourselves on our client-centered approach, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual seeking our services.

Work Environment

As a remote position, you will have the flexibility to create a work environment that suits you best, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our clinic operates from Monday to Saturday, providing a dynamic and supportive atmosphere, even in a virtual capacity. This role enables you to manage your own schedule within this framework, ensuring that you meet both client and personal needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, including adolescents and families, to understand their mental health needs and challenges.
  • Utilize clinical skills to formulate treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, participating in patient rounds to discuss treatment strategies and optimize care plans.
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and session notes to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with clinic standards.
  • Provide ongoing case management support for assigned clients, ensuring they receive comprehensive services by liaising with community resources and professionals.
  • Foster a safe and trusting environment for clients, encouraging open communication and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients requiring mental health counseling services. This includes individuals dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. The diverse client population at Inner Fire Wellness Center provides a rich environment for you to apply your clinical expertise while making a meaningful impact on lives.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must possess an active state license as either an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is mandatory; a Master’s Degree is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing services through telehealth platforms is a plus, given our remote work setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and a willingness to incorporate new therapeutic techniques into practice.
  • Previous experience working in community health settings or outpatient clinics is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials. Our benefits package includes comprehensive health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision, along with professional liability insurance for peace of mind. Additionally, enjoy generous paid time off and holidays to promote work-life balance, alongside access to professional development opportunities for continuous growth and skill enhancement.
