• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional states, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, continuously evaluating their progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and couples, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance communication, address conflicts, and foster relationship strength.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring ethical documentation practices while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses the full spectrum of client needs.
• Prepare for and manage crisis intervention scenarios with compassion and competency, providing immediate support to clients in acute distress.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest research, techniques, and best practices in marriage and family therapy.
• Advocate for client rights and empower them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment and mental health care.
• Encourage clients to integrate self-care practices into their routines, assisting them in accessing additional resources as needed.
• Represent the counseling center with professionalism in all interactions, promoting our mission and values.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals of all ages and couples facing a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and life transitions. Our focus is on providing compassionate care that promotes healing, communication, and emotional growth for every client who seeks our services.

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and couples therapy.
• Proficient in managing timely and accurate documentation related to assessments, treatment plans, and client progress.
• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients and interdisciplinary team members.

• Previous experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults.
• Familiarity with remote therapy platforms and the ability to conduct secure virtual sessions effectively.
• Experience in crisis intervention and managing acute mental health episodes.

The anticipated salary range for this role is between USD 90,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
