Familiarity with statistical analysis software (like SPSS or R), online survey tools, and literature databases is typically required. Regular virtual meetings and collaborative platforms help maintain workflow and ensure research projects stay on track.

What is remote exercise science research?

Remote exercise science research involves studying human movement, fitness, and physical activity using digital tools and technologies without requiring in-person interaction. Researchers may collect data through wearable fitness trackers, online surveys, video conferencing, or remote monitoring devices. This approach allows for broader participant recruitment, flexible study designs, and safer data collection, especially when in-person research is not feasible. Remote research in exercise science can be used in fields like rehabilitation, sports performance, and public health.
