As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sun West Psychotherapy Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through telehealth consultations.
• Formulating individualized treatment plans that align with each client's goals, preferences, and unique circumstances.
• Delivering a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Regularly monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Providing crisis intervention support when needed, ensuring clients feel safe and heard during challenging times.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to ensure holistic care for our clients.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest advancements in mental health treatment.
• Participating in regular supervision sessions for clinical feedback and growth opportunities.
• Upholding the ethical standards and guidelines dictated by licensing boards and professional organizations.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, working with individuals across various backgrounds who are seeking support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A current state license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey therapeutic concepts.
• A compassionate demeanor, demonstrating a genuine commitment to the well-being of clients.
• The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a remote team environment.
• A sound understanding of ethical guidelines and legal considerations in mental health practice.

While a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, candidates with specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, couples therapy, or cognitive-behavioral therapy are especially encouraged to apply.
