Position Overview

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mind Discovery Mental Health Services, you will play a critical role in providing telehealth support to individuals and families facing mental health challenges. You will utilize your advanced training and expertise as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC to deliver compassionate, effective counseling services and ensure that clients have access to the necessary resources for their overall well-being.

Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while still being part of a dynamic and innovative mental health team. Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize crisis de-escalation techniques during telehealth sessions to provide immediate support to clients in distress, as well as serve as Clinician of the Day for additional milieu support.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to individuals' unique needs, ensuring timely documentation is submitted on the same day.
  • Monitor and document client progress, including critical incident reporting within 24 hours of any significant events.
  • Participate in after-hours phone rotations to provide ongoing care coordination and support to clients and their families.
  • Maintain a high standard of service delivery amidst a substantial caseload, effectively prioritizing tasks and collaborating with colleagues as required.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through attending training sessions and workshops, enhancing your clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse client population, ranging from adolescents to older adults, who may be dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. Your culturally competent approach will help create a safe, trusting environment that encourages clients to express their thoughts and feelings freely.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
  • Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong clinical acumen and the ability to develop rapport with clients of varying backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a capacity for managing a caseload effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating positive therapeutic relationships.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth settings, particularly in delivering remote counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits

Your hard work and dedication will be rewarded with a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and caseload.
