About Beatport

For over 20 years, Beatport has been the global leader in DJ and club culture, pushing the boundaries of dance music to all corners of the world. Created by DJs for DJs, Beatport has always been dedicated to innovating new products and services to support evolving generations of music performers and producers.

The Beatport Group includes some of the best-known brands in DJ culture, including Beatport, Ampsuite, LabelRadar, Beatport Live & The International Music Summit (IMS). We are consistently looking for bright, creative professionals with diverse perspectives and backgrounds.

Where you come in:

Beatport is looking for two driven and well-connected Business Development Representatives to join our growing Beatport Tickets team, working part-time remote from the United States.

This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the US electronic music scene, a strong network within the live events and clubbing ecosystem, and a passion for helping promoters thrive through innovative ticketing solutions.

You'll act as the local face and voice of Beatport Tickets in the US, helping us identify opportunities and build partnerships that matter. Reporting to the Head of Ticketing and working closely with other teams across The Beatport Group, you'll play a key role in expanding our presence in one of the world's most important nightlife markets.

This is a part-time role with flexible hours and high autonomy, ideal for a self-starting individual already embedded in the US nightlife industry. The role will be initially for a 6 month contract with potential scope to extend.

This is a US remote role so applicants must be based in the US and hold a valid right to live and work in the US without restriction.

As Business Development Representative (Part-Time) - Beatport Tickets, you'll be responsible for:

Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Collecting and synthesizing intelligence on the US club and festival market
  • Identifying, qualifying, and maintaining a pipeline of electronic music event promoters, festivals and venues across the US
  • Monitoring trends, key players, and regional dynamics within the US events ecosystem

Sales & Partnership Development

  • Presenting and positioning Beatport Tickets as a leading solution for electronic music events
  • Building and maintaining relationships with promoters and venues to secure ticketing partnerships
  • Developing tailored business proposals and close commercial agreements
  • Representing Beatport Tickets at industry events, meetings, and showcases

Coordination & Strategic Input

  • Aligning with the Head of Ticketing on sales targets, growth strategy, and prioritization
  • Collaborating with marketing, content, and brand teams to support local partner campaigns
  • Feeding US market insights back into the global Beatport Tickets roadmap
  • Helping activate cross-platform opportunities with Beatport's other services (e.g. Beatportal, LabelBase, etc.)

As Business Development Rep (Part-Time) - Beatport Tickets, you will require:

  • Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or ticketing sales
  • Deep understanding of ticketing platforms and the needs of promoters and venues
  • Strong network within the US electronic music, nightlife, and event promotion scene
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive results in a part-time setup
  • Passion for electronic music and alignment with Beatport's mission and culture
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience at a ticketing company, event brand, club, or agency
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems
  • Understanding of digital marketing and audience engagement in nightlife

At Beatport Group, creativity and community are at the forefront of everything we do. Our company is a hub of innovation, driven by a commitment to authenticity and a deep understanding of the music landscape. Our culture is built on the values of D.A.N.C.E (Demand Diversity, Accountability to our communities, Nurturing our ecosystem, Community first, always, and Evolution of our mission).
