This position operates fully via telehealth, allowing therapists to interact with clients through secure video conferencing platforms. • Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients by establishing a positive therapeutic rapport during initial and ongoing sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose mental health disorders and co-create tailored treatment plans with clients based on their specific needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches to support clients in achieving their mental health and wellness goals.
• Implement dynamic therapeutic interventions and techniques to help clients manage various challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, revising treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with other professionals and specialists as needed to enhance the depth of support offered to clients, ensuring continuity of care.

Your clients will come from diverse backgrounds, encompassing individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health issues. We serve an inclusive community in Waldorf and beyond, including those seeking support for relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, and depression. • A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is necessary for this role.
• Proven experience in providing effective individual and/or group therapy with a focus on systemic approaches.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to balance caseload and administrative responsibilities.

• Experience with teletherapy platforms and a demonstrated ability to engage clients effectively in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Adeptness in building and maintaining a diverse client base, establishing referrals, and leveraging community resources.
