This position offers the unique advantage of a fully remote work setting, allowing you flexibility in managing your time while maintaining a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering effective counseling services to clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams, including physicians and other mental health professionals, to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintaining meticulous and compliant documentation of client interactions and treatment outcomes, adhering to HIPAA standards.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to create and implement individualized care plans and post-treatment strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Actively representing Discovery Mood at community events to foster partnerships and promote mental health awareness.

You will serve a diverse patient population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and senior citizens. Each client comes with unique backgrounds and presenting issues, allowing you to leverage your expertise and creativity in developing personalized therapeutic strategies. Your work will directly impact their mental health journeys, guiding them towards recovery and well-being.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• A valid independent licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health clinical setting, providing hands-on therapeutic support.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

• Experience with digital therapy platforms and telehealth solutions to enhance the virtual therapy experience.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices, is preferred.
• Background in community outreach or public speaking to promote mental health awareness effectively.
