Your role
In this remote role, you will learn about and support all aspects of marketing research for the individual product categories such as Food, Beverage & Health. The Marketing Intern will study existing reports (if applicable), develop, or propose enhancements for the tasks below:
• Support Marketing leaders & Marketing VP: Update report sourcing from secondary data (e.g., Euromonitor, Mintel, desk research) and internal business databases (CX).
• Conduct Market Research: Identify online trends and opportunities.
• Administrative Support: Assist the marketing team in daily administrative tasks.
• Prepare Action Plans and Meeting Notes: Keep project status up-to-date and ensure clear communication.
• Brainstorming Sessions: Participate in brainstorming sessions for customer concept developments.
• PowerPoint Presentations: Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations to support Marketing.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data.
• Learning and Development: Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your marketing skills.
• Feedback Loop: Provide and receive constructive feedback to improve processes and strategies.
• Take on additional projects as needed to support the marketing department.
About you
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university/college in Junior or Senior year
• Your degree should be business related (ie., Business Admin., Mgmt., Marketing, etc.)
• Availability to work remote schedule 20-30 hours/week for a 6 month time frame
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge of project management processes, workflows and terminology
• Attributes i.e., communication, customer service oriented, organized, critical-thinking, problem solving, initiative, quick learner
• Action oriented and enjoys working in matrix organization
• Teamplayer
• Ability to resolve conflicts or escalate to Marketing Team as needed
