Work Environment

This role provides the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering essential care to our clients. Our practice operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, accommodating some flexibility based on patient needs. You'll work closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals, leveraging innovative digital tools for seamless integration of patient records and care coordination, which enhances our efficiency and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver impactful evidence-based interventions.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to empower clients and foster a supportive community, addressing topics such as anxiety, depression, and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.
  • Provide crisis intervention support during acute mental health episodes, using sound judgment and immediate action to stabilize clients.
  • Educate patients regarding their conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to thoughtful discussion and strategic planning for patient care.
  • Commit to continual professional development by staying updated with the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population facing various mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid LPCC license in the state of California.
  • Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create effective treatment plans that produce positive patient outcomes.
  • Solid experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse population.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective patient engagement and team collaboration.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professional boundaries and ethics.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
