Work Environment

This is a fully remote position where you can work from the comfort of your home anywhere in California. You will receive full clinical support along with the use of modern telehealth platforms to ensure effective patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, or family therapy sessions utilizing a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for all clients.
• Perform initial intake assessments to gather background information and develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans that cater specifically to each client's needs.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate client progress.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
• Participate actively in virtual team meetings, clinical consultations, and ongoing training sessions to enhance professional development and stay updated with best practices in mental health care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary virtual team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive client care and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and major life transitions. Our clients come from various backgrounds, necessitating cultural competence and sensitivity in your approach. As a clinician, you will empower clients to navigate their challenges and improve their overall mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California, demonstrating a commitment to professional standards and ethics.
• At least two years of clinical experience post-licensure, providing a foundation in therapeutic practices and client-centered care.
• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills, alongside a demonstrated ability to connect with clients empathetically.
• Proficiency with telehealth technology and remote working tools to facilitate effective client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations is preferred, providing insight into the unique challenges faced by various communities.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes CEU reimbursement, mental health days, and resources for professional development. We ensure minimal administrative burdens by managing referrals, billing, and scheduling, allowing you to focus entirely on client care. This role also offers a competitive hourly or per-session compensation rate based on your availability and experience.
