Position Overview

Health Booster Counseling Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist for a full-time remote position. The successful candidate will hold a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, culturally responsive mental health care to individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that take into account the unique experiences, backgrounds, and needs of each patient.
• Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with the cultural and personal contexts of your patients.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, addressing a broad range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship challenges and trauma.
• Engage in effective collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
• Offer timely crisis intervention and support services, equipped to handle mental health emergencies with professionalism and poise.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and available community resources, fostering informed decision-making.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions focused on cultural competencies to enhance collective therapeutic effectiveness.
• Stay abreast of research advancements and best practices within the mental health field to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge care.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and an array of evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy, emphasizing culturally responsive and inclusive methods.
• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with a composed approach during high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with diverse populations.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools relevant to mental health care.
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on culturally competent care.
• Experience providing therapy to underserved populations is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
